Theses / Advanced Research Courses

Advanced research cources and theses may be startet all year long at the Institute of Technical Chemistry. The topics are related to the current research projects. If you are interested in joining the group, please, contact us  (ideally two months ahead of the intended start date of the project).

Generally, projects in the areas listed below are offered:

• polymer electrolyte membranes for applications in fuel cells or vanadium redox flow batteries
• fluoropolymers: synthesis and characterization
• modeling of polymerization processes
• kinetic and mechanistic investigations into polymerizations
• use of supercritical  CO₂ as reaction or process medium
• recycling of polymers
