A year full of success and memorable experiences is coming to an end
The year 2024 was marked by the following highlights: the start of a new term, the 30th-anniversary celebration, new research projects, numerous publications, and fire safety renovations.
In March, Valerian Hirschberg launched his own research group, and in October, we celebrated the ITC’s 30th anniversary with the institute’s founder, Professor Gudrun Schmidt, and alumni. In addition, several research grants were approved, and a whole series of publications were completed.
At the same time, preparations for the fire safety renovation by institute staff took up a great deal of time, and the interim measures prior to the renovation were nerve-wracking due to the noise and mess. Details on who can be found where will follow in January.
