Poster prize for Lennart Arendes
At the Workshop on Polymer Reaction Engineering, the poster titled “Itaconates in Radical Polymerizations: Studies of Copolymerization Behavior and Emulsion Polymerizations” received an award.
Slow growth rates and the occurrence of depropagation severely limit the use of bio-based itaconic acid diesters. The poster shows that technically relevant polymer molecular weights can be obtained through copolymerization with acrylates or emulsion polymerization.
